  • After that, plug in the modem and the router into a power socket and press the power button on both of your devices.

  • Next, open a smartphone, desktop, or laptop device. Then go to its Wi-Fi manager and then select the Orbi router's network SSID. Enter the password to connect your device to the Orbi router's network. 
  • Once you connect your device to the network, open an updated web browser on your device. 
  • Type the orbilogin.com into the browser's search bar and hit the enter button. 
  • The Orbi login page appears here.
  • On the login page, enter your Orbi admin username and password. 
  • Lastly, hit the Login button.  

 

Now, you have successfully installed your Orbi router setup. You can move the router to your desired place.

 

Note- 

If you don't want to use a LAN connection to connect your router to the modem, use the WPS connection to connect both of the devices. 

 

Orbi Router Login- 

 

Once you have installed the router, you can log in to it to set or change the configurations for your Orbi router. 



  • Firstly, you need to open a device and then connect that device to the Orbi router's network. 
  • Now, open an updated browser on your device and type orbilogin.com in the browser's search bar. 
  • The Orbi login page appears here. 
  • Then, enter your Orbi admin username and password in their respective input fields.
  • Lastly, hit the login button to access your router's user interface. 

 

Troubleshooting the issues with the login-

You easily log in to the router by following the steps given above. However, sometimes it is not the case. There can be some issues, so if this happens to you. You can try these tips and tricks to fix the issues.



  • Connect your Orbi router to the power outlet properly and wait for the LED light to blink solid white or green. 
  • Check that the Orbi router connects to the modem properly.  
  • Also, check the connection between your device and the Orbi router.
  • Next, make sure you use the correct admin and network credentials to log in to your device. You can find the network credentials on your router label. And to get the admin login credentials, you can contact the vendor of your Orbi router. 
  • In case you've lost your login details, reset your router password or reset the Orbi router.

However, if you don't have a Netgear account yet, create an account first. Then, you can install and log in to your router using the Orbi app.

Reset the Netgear Orbi router- 

In case you lose your login details, you can reset your router to bring it back to its factory default settings. 

 

  • Firstly, find the tiny reset button on your router. It is always labeled as the RESET. 
  • Once you find it, hold it with a pointy object (for example, a sim injector) for almost 20 to 30 seconds.
